Aveda Products, but NOT Aveda salon

I love aveda products and was delighted to find an aveda salon in Twin Falls, but this is no aveda salon. They may sell the products, but the stylists clearly do not participate in the continuing education classes. I asked for long, blended layers and I got the "Rachel" cut from Friends. That would have been fine 15 years ago, but not today. The stylist cut even, but very defined layers much shorter than I had anticipated. I'm not brave enough to try another stylist at this salon as they all rent their stations. I was also very disappointed when I was not even treated to aveda shampoo and conditioner. Each stylist uses their own product, not very good for pushing sales of aveda. I won't go back for another style, but I will be back when I run out of my products.
